HC Deb 29 January 1970 vol 794 c389W
Mrs. Ewing

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the case of the boy Peter Dempsey aged six-and-a-half years, a constituent of the hon. Member for Hamilton, who although declared suitable for admission to special school education has received no school education.

Mr. Ross

I share the hon. Members concern that Lanarkshire Education Authority has so far been unable to place this child, about whom she has written to me, in a special school. I am making inquiries about the case and will write to the hon. Member when they are complete.
