§ Mr. DellTwenty-six industrial training boards' levy orders are currently in operation. The rates of levy, which are expressed as percentages of the payroll unless otherwise stated, are as follows:
Agricultural, Horticultural and Forestry. £3 10s. per whole time worker. Carpet 0.9 per cent. Ceramics, Glass and Mineral Products 0.75 percent, and 1.5 per cent. (1 0 per cent. average). Chemical and Allied Products 1.1 per cent. Civil Air Transport £8 per head. Construction 0.8 per cent. Cotton and Allied Textiles 0.9 per cent. Distributive 0.5 per cent. Electricity Supply 0.035 per cent. Engineering 1.0 per cent.; 2.5 per cent. (2.3 per cent. average). Food, Drink and Tobacco 0.9 per cent. Footwear, Leather and Fur Skin. 0.175 per cent. Furniture and Timber 1.4 per cent. Gas 1.62 per cent Hotel and Catering 1.0 per cent. Iron and Steel £24 10s. per head. Knitting, Lace and Net 1.0 per cent. Man-made Fibres Producing 0.05 per cent.
