§ Mr. DiamondCentral Government expenditure (excluding investment grants, regional employment premiums and selective employment tax additional payments) at constant prices rose by 22 per cent. between the year ending 31st December, 1964 and that ending 30th September, 1969—the latest 12 month period for which figures are available.
