HC Deb 26 January 1970 vol 794 cc263-4W
Mrs. Ewing

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if he will estimate the total Exchequer receipts attributable to Scotland in 1968–69 and 1969–70 on the basis of the calculations in Table A of the Scottish Budget.

(2) if he will provide details of central Government expenditure in Scotland in 1968–69 and, as projected, in 1969–70, 1970–71 and 1971–72, on the same basis as in Table B of the Scottish Budget.

Mr. Diamond

A special exercise was mounted to compile the estimates of central Government expenditure and revenue attributable to Scotland in 1967–68. Information has not been compiled in a similar form for 1968–69 and later years.

Mrs. Ewing

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will provide estimates of central Government revenue for 1968–69 and 1969–70 using the same mode of presentation as in Table D of the Scottish Budget.
