asked the Minister of Transport if he will make a statement on the proposed Banbury bypass, giving the estimated date of completion.

Mr. Bob Brown

A decision about a Banbury bypass must wait until I have selected a preferred route for the new road between Oxford and Birmingham. As my right hon. Friend told the hon. Member on 19th December, this is at present the subject of a project feasibility study.—[Vol. 793, c. 498.]
