Mr. Ron Lewis

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will now give details of increases in financial loss allowance, subsistence allowance, and travel allowance, under the Local Government Act, 1948.

The increases will be brought into effect shortly by regulations which my right hon. Friend is making and I will send my hon. Friend copies as soon as they are available.
