§ Mrs. Gwyneth DunwoodyThe following organisations in receipt of Government funds have particular responsibility for assisting small businesses:
- The British Productivity Council (much of whose work is undertaken through the Local Productivity Associations).
- The Institute of Marketing (through its export marketing partnerships scheme).
- The Overseas Marketing Corporation, Ltd.
- The Council for Small Industries in Rural Areas.
- The Small Industries Council for Rural Areas in Scotland.
- The Industrial Liaison Centres and Low-Cost Automation Centres at Universities and Technical Colleges.
- The Centre for Industrial Innovation at the University of Strathclyde.
- The Small Business Centre at the University of Aston.
- The Crafts Council of Great Britain Ltd.
- The Crafts Centre of Great Britain.
- The Scottish Craft Centre.
