§ Mr. Buchanan-Smithasked the Secretary of State for Scotland in how many multi-storey blocks of flats where remedial strengthening work is necessary this work has not yet been carried out.
§ Mr. RossWork has been completed on 22 blocks, is in progress on 38, and will start soon on 8. Proposals for work on another 17 are being considered by the local authorities concerned.
