HC Deb 20 January 1970 vol 794 c91W
56. Mr. George Jeger

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the change in circumstances at the Royal Mint in Tower Hill, he will now review the 1967 decision to move all coin work to Llantrisant.

Mr. Taverne

The first part of the move to Llantrisant has been completed. My right hon. Friend sees considerable difficulty and little advantage in reversing decisions that have already been taken, but representations to this effect have been made by some of the employees at Tower Hill and he is considering these representations.
