§ Sir Harmar Nichollsasked the Minister of Transport if he will issue a supplement to the official Ministry of Transport manual, entitled "Driving", giving advice to the drivers of vehicles driving articulated lorries or towing trailers or caravans, such as is published in the Caravan Manual, a copy of which has been sent to him.
Mr. Bob BrownThe Ministry manual "Driving" gives authoritative guidance on driving technique and road procedure applicable to drivers in general. It does not aim to give advice on particular problems relating to specialised vehicles or special uses of vehicles in general. I am not at present satisfied that there is a need for a supplementary Ministry manual.
