asked the Minister of Transport what steps he is taking to ensure that the interrupted work on the Devon Bridge at Newark-on-Trent proceeds with minimum delay.

Negotiations are taking place with another contractor. If he is prepared to complete the works at an acceptable price, work could be restarted my mid-February.
