§ Mr. Wyattasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will arrange for volunteers at the Common Cold Research Unit at Salisbury to be paid £5 a day instead of 5s. a day, and for them to be provided with a television set.
§ Mr. FowlerThis is a matter for the Medical Research Council; but they assure me that volunteers continue to come forward in sufficient numbers. There is no evidence to suggest that the money or facilities currently provided restricts the number of applicants.
