Mr. Michael McNair-Wilson

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, in view of the effect which the teachers' strike is having on schools in Waltham Forest, he will now give a date for the next meeting of the Burnham Committee.

It is for the Burnham Committee to arrange its own time-table and procedure. I understand from the Chairman that he has been able to bring forward the next meeting to 3rd March.
