HC Deb 25 February 1970 vol 796 cc335-6W
80 and 81. Mr. George Jeger

asked the President of the Board of Trade (1) how many scheduled day flights are being operated between London and Gibraltar on the present winter programme; and how this compares with the number last winter;

(2) how many day flights between London and Gibraltar are scheduled for the summer of 1970; and how this number compares with the summer of 1969.

Mr. Goronwy Roberts

This winter and last winter B.E.A. operated two scheduled day flights a week each way between London and Gibraltar direct and one via Madrid. Last summer there were four direct day flights a week from June to September and three a week at other times. Three day flights a week each way are scheduled in B.E.A.'s provisional 1970 timetable.
