§ Q11. Dame Irene Wardasked the Prime Minister if he will give an assurance that he will at an early date receive a deputation from the North Eastern Development Council to discuss the growing unemployment in the Northern Region of England.
§ The Prime MinisterI have been in touch with the Council and explained why I do not think that a useful purpose would be served by a meeting at this time.
