§ 52. Mr. Palmerasked the Minister of Technology what steps he is taking, as recommended by the Select Committee on Science and Technology, to underwrite the contingent liabilities of the United Kingdom generating boards in order that new types of nuclear reactors, particularly SGHWR, HTR and sodium-cooled breeders, may come into early commercial service and thus assist the sale of these reactor types abroad.
§ Mr. BennThe early entry of these reactors into commercial service does not depend, as matters stand now, on the steps recommended by the Select Committee.
