asked the Minister of Technology if he will make a statement on the progress to date of the reorganisation of the nuclear power industry.

As the hon. Member knows, the first stage of this major programme is now complete, and the two reactor design and construction companies have been in business for some time. I hope very shortly to introduce the Bill to establish the nuclear fuel company from the production side of the Atomic Energy Authority. The Green Paper published on 16th January put forward proposals for the reorganisation of the remainder of the A.E.A., and, as part of these, for the formation of an Atomic Energy Board.
