asked the Minister of Technology what requests for licences for the construction and purchase of a hydrographic survey ship, be- ing built at Yarrow, he has received from the South African Government's armament board.

It is for the shipbuilder to apply for a construction licence for a ship but so far we have not received an application in respect of this vessel.
