HC Deb 23 February 1970 vol 796 c238W
Commander Pursey

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether, in view of the Pears Report, of the independent expert inquiry into the Hornsea Children's Convalescent Hospital, and of the lack of essential equipment and of the inadequacy in number and qualifications of the nursing staff, he will discharge the East Riding Hospital Management Committee and appoint a new committee.

Mr. Crossman

The function of appointing hospital management committees for hospitals in the Leeds region lies with the Leeds Regional Hospital Board.
