The option agreements do not lay down delivery dates. These will be a matter of negotiation between the manufacturers and the airlines at the time of signing contracts.

asked the Minister of Technology what examination he has made of the effect of delays in landing on operating costs of Concorde.

Mr. Carmichael

The effect of possible landing delays on the amount of fuel reserves needed is one of the factors which has been taken into account in assessing Concorde's operating costs.
