§ Mr. William Edwardsasked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications what steps have been taken by his Department to carry out Government policy under the Welsh Language Act.
§ Mr. StonehouseThe Welsh Language Act, 1967, has called for no action by me. But I have reviewed and shall keep under review all forms issued by my Ministry and used by the public in Wales. Broadcast receiving licences issued in Wales and Monmouthshire are already bilingual, and I propose to introduce bilingual reminder forms for these licences from 1st April, 1970.
