HC Deb 18 February 1970 vol 796 c146W
Mr. Pardoe

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what reply he has given to representations from the Cornwall Education Committee for special approval to build a replacement for the National School in Launceston.

Miss Bacon

The local education authority informed the Department that replacement of this unsafe school by temporary classrooms would cost £24,500, of which £3,300 could be met from their allocation for minor capital works in 1969–70. I have increased the allocation by the further £21,200 required.
