§ Mr. GreenwoodThe Directorate of Engineering, which was created by reorganising the former Engineering Inspectorate, is being strengthened by 16 new professional posts, at an annual cost of £80,000 per annum, over the period 19691971. This increase is needed, irrespective of the reorganisation, for urgent work82W on water supply, sewerage and sewage treatment, pollution prevention and waste disposal.
