asked the Minister of Public Building and Works what progress is being made with the conversion of coke boilers in Government buildings so that they can burn 2A anthracite grain instead of coke; and what is the approximate cost of converting each boiler.

16 boilers have been converted to burn 2A anthracite grain at an average cost of £1,400 per boiler. 25 smaller boilers have been converted at an average cost of £550 per boiler. Nine further conversions are under consideration.
