asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what was the total cost of public relations to the Industrial Advisers to the Blind Limited since its inception; how many copies of the journal, Forum, are circulated, and for what purpose; and if the whole of this expense is met by the Government grant or by the sale of products made by blind persons.

The total cost of public relations to the Industrial Advisers to the Blind from its inception in 1964 up to the end of 1969, including the printing ofForum—in ink print and braille—was £11,248.

4,700 copies of Forum are distributed bi-monthly for the purpose of informing workshop managements and others who have an interest in workshops for the blind, of current and projected developments in the workshops and the exchange of information, ideas and views.

The entire expense of public relations to Industrial Advisers to the Blind Ltd. is met by the Government grant.
