§ Mr. Mackintoshasked the Minister of Overseas Development what aid has been given to rehabilitate schools in the areas affected by the civil war in Nigeria
§ Mr. WhitakerHer Majesty's Government have offered to increase our previous reconstruction grant by £25,000 for this purpose. Detailed requirements are now being worked out in conjunction with the Nigerian authorities. The extra sum is to be used towards the cost of books and equipment for rehabilitating schools in the war-affected areas which includes part of the Mid Western State.
