§ Mr. Elystan MorganUnder Rule 14 of the Coroners Rules, 1953, a coroner is permitted to exclude the public from any inquest only if he considers that it would be in the interests of national security so to do. I am not aware that this limited right to exclude the public has been exercised in recent years.
