§ Mr. Harold WalkerEighty local authorities were responsible for taking prosecutions against 189 persons or companies during 1968 under the Offices, Shops and Railway Premises Act. The balance of 20 prosecutions was taken by 11 fire authorities and H.M. Factory Inspectorate. I regret that the number of local authorities who have not taken proceedings since the Act came into operation is not known.
