Mr. Roebuck

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what replies he has received from chief constables to his communication requesting them to consider

and the consequent transfer of pupils; and if he will give the same information for the same periods regarding each the schools in the islands of Lewis, Harris, North Uist, South Uist and Benbecula, respectively.
