HC Deb 03 February 1970 vol 795 c96W
Mr. Stratton Mills

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many barriers and barricades there are currently on the streets of Belfast; and what steps he is taking to have all such obstacles removed.

Mr. Richard

There are at present no unofficial barricades in Belfast. There are some twenty official barriers on the 'Peace line" which will be removed when the security position in the relevant section of Belfast is sufficiently improved.
