§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether he will give as much detailed information as may be readily available to show the wage and salary increases either on a cash or percentage basis for workers in the electricity supply industry for each year from 1st April, 1969, 1st April, 1970 and to date and give a comparison with the amounts as actually paid or due to be paid or on a percentage basis to the Chairman of the Electricity Council, including the postponed 14 per cent. which was due to operate on 1st January, 1971.
§ Sir J. EdenPay of workers is a matter for the electricity industry. As regards the salary of the Chairman of the Electricity Council, I would refer the 509W hon. Member to the Reply given to him by the Minister for the Civil Service on 10th November.
