HC Deb 17 December 1970 vol 808 cc441-2W
Mr. Skinner

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether the level of local authority rents is generally lower in areas of high unemployment; and whether below-average rents prevail where unemployment is of the order of 8 per cent. and above.

Mr. Amery

This information is not available because unemployment rates are calculated by groups of employment exchange areas and these do not generally coincide with local authority areas.
