HC Deb 14 December 1970 vol 808 cc256-7W
Mr. Carter-Jones

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what advice he has given his staff to encourage the development of the permanent exhibition of aids for disabled people being established by the Disabled Living Foundation, details of which have been sent to him; if he will encourage local authorities to view the exhibition in order to inform themselves about aids for the disabled; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Graham Page

I welcome the Foundation's initiative in setting up this exhibition and hope that local authorities will make full use of it. My Department will be bringing it to the attention of all local authorities and others who seek their advice on provision for the disabled.
