HC Deb 11 December 1970 vol 808 cc201-2W
Mr. Bryant Godman Irvine

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what works are contemplated on the Folkestone-Honiton trunk road between Roberts Hill, Ferry Hill, and Rectory Lane, Winchelsea, and the approximate cost.

Mr. Michael Heseltine

Until a decision has been reachd on the draft Order. Roberts Hill, Ferry Hill and Rectory Lane are not part of the trunk road. Improvements being contemplated for Roberts Hill and Ferry Hill (including the hairpin bend), if they were to become part of the trunk road, are estimated by the agent authority to cost around £53,000.
