HC Deb 10 December 1970 vol 808 cc170-1W
84. Captain Orr

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what discussions have taken place since 12th November with the Northern Ireland Government about the application of the Government's economic measures; and whether he will now make a statement.

Mr. Maudling

There have been continuing discussions between officials of the Northern Ireland and United Kingdom Governments, and in a statement on Tuesday the Minister of Finance in Northern Ireland announced the conclusions reached so far. Two issues, housing subsidies and industrial incentives, are still being discussed.
