The following list gives information about major wage settlements notified to my Department and Wages Council Orders made during this period which affect approximately 100,000 or more workers. Where there has been more than one improvement for the same workers since June, 1969 these have been grouped together. The percentage figures included are not comparable because in every case in some industries national increases can be added to through arrangements covering pay in individual firms and factories. Following is the list:
