Mr. Marples

asked the Secretary of State for Employment why the Report of the National Board for Prices and Incomes on the pay of higher officers of the armed forces, which has been in his possession since 16th October, has not yet been published; and what other Reports of the National Board for Prices and Incomes have been delayed in publication for 45 days or more.

As my right hon. Friend the Minister of State stated in his reply to the hon. Member for West Ham, North (Mr. Arthur Lewis) on 3rd December, the Government are considering the recommendations in the Report. No other report of the National Board for Prices and Incomes has been delayed for 45 days or more.—[Vol. 807, c. 447–8.]
