HC Deb 02 December 1970 vol 807 cc399-400W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will make a statement on the Government's review of housing finance; and to what extent he will seek in this review to give priority to authorities with the greatest housing need and, in particular, to the London borough of Newham.

Mr. Amery

I have nothing to add to my right hon. Friend's statement on 3rd November. Under the reform of housing finance, those local authorities with serious housing problems will be better placed to solve them speedily.
