HC Deb 02 December 1970 vol 807 cc400-1W
72. Mr. O'Halloran

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the estimated cost of building the A1 road bridge at Hornsey Road, London, N.19; why no work has been carried out over the last 10 months; and when the project will be completed.

Mr. Michael Heseltine

I understand that the Question refers to the Hornsey Road overline bridge owned by British Railways Board and carrying the A103.

I am advised by the board that the estimated cost is £50,000. Delay in supply of telephone cables has held up the project, which is now expected to be completed late Autumn 1971.
