§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt 9th November, 1970, there were 2,632 persons (2,412 males and 220 females) registered as unemployed in the area covered by the Bridgeton Employment Exchange. Of these, 2,402 males were registered as wholly unemployed and the periods for which they had been on the registers were as follows:
