§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many hospital in-patients during 1968, 1969 and the first nine months of 1970 have been requested to leave hospital before their course of treatment is completed in order to create bed vacancies for persons more seriously ill than themselves.
§ Mr. AlisonThe discharge of a patient is a matter for the individual doctor concerned, but if the hon. Member wishes me to look into a particular case, I would willingly do so.
