asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what his Department's plans are for new hospital building in Bradford; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Alison

The Leeds Regional Hospital Board proposes to develop the Bradford Royal Infirmary and Lynfield Mount Hospital as the district general hospital for Bradford. The proposal is questioned by Bradford City Council and is being considered with alternative proposals.
