asked the Minister of Transport what is the ratio of fatalities and accidents to the number of cars over the last 10 years on the Al27 between Gallows Corner and Southend.

I regret the information is not available in the form requested. The numbers of accidents and fatalities for each of the ten years from 1960 to 1969 and the traffic figures obtained at the general censuses of 1961, 1965 and 1969 are as follows:
