HC Deb 29 April 1970 vol 800 cc331-2W
84. Mr. Gregor Mackenzie

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on his meeting with the Clyde Valley Planning Advisory Committee.

Mr. Ross:

I am glad to say that the present Committee reached agreement on a basis of representation on a new Clyde Valley Planning Advisory Committee, which will form part of the organisation I proposed last year to prepare a regional advisory plan. This agreement has still to be ratified by some authorities, but I hope and believe that all will ratify it. The regional planning organisation can be brought into being as soon as the Clyde Valley Planning Advisory Committee has been formally reconstituted.
