Mr. Brian Parkyn

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he proposes to authorise the rebuilding of Ampthill Road Primary School and Clapham Road Primary School in Bedford.

Miss Bacon:

My right hon. Friend has already authorised the rebuilding of Ampthill Road Infants School in 1971–72. A project to replace Clapham Road Infants School is under consideration for inclusion in a subsequent programme.
