HC Deb 27 April 1970 vol 800 c196W
54. Mr. Tilney

asked the Minister of Technology whether he will refuse consent to the Central Electricity Generating Board to build a nuclear power station on the inner reaches of the Dee Estuary.

Mr. Harold Lever:

A public inquiry will be held in due course on the C.E.G.B.'s application to site a nuclear station at Connah's Quay. I cannot, of course, anticipate what the results of this will be.
