HC Deb 27 April 1970 vol 800 cc206-7W
Mr. Hooley

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will defer implementation of the Government's decision to exclude CS gas from the scope of the Geneva Protocol so far as the United Kingdom is concerned, pending the publication of the final report of the Himsworth Committee.

No. Her Majesty's Government's policy, which is based on a careful study of the available evidence, remains as my right hon. Friend explained it to the House on 2nd February.—[Vol. 795, c. 17–18.]
