HC Deb 27 April 1970 vol 800 c228W
Mr. Howie

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if she will make a statement about her consultations with the Trades Union Congress and the Confederation of British Industry on the subject of the appointment of worker representatives to the boards of undertakings.

Mr. Harold Walker:

My right hon. Friend sent to the C.B.I. and T.U.C. a consultative document seeking their views on a number of important questions concerning the appointment of worker representatives to management boards. I am arranging for copies of this consultative document to be available to Members in the Vote Office.
