§ Mr. Pavittasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government when he expects to receive the McCarthy Report to the National Joint Council for Local Authority Services; and what administative arrangements have been made for consultation with the Department of Employment and Productivity concerning union representation arising therefrom.
§ Mr. Greenwood:Dr. McCarthy's report, which is expected very shortly, will be addressed to the National Joint Council and neither the Department nor the Department of Employment and Productivity will be involved in its consideration unless the parties concerned seek assistance.
