§ Mr. Ross:£482,000 was allotted to the Western Regional Hospital Board in the winter of 1969–70. Of this total £30,000 was allocated to Southern Ayrshire. Most of the money was spent on maintenance; bigger projects were a dining room and fire precautions at Ailsa Hospital, Ayr, 48W and catering facilities at Heathfield Hospital, Ayr.
